Netanyahu holds emergency meeting on response to Iranian attack
The "Israeli" Prime Minister's office announced that Benjamin Netanyahu is consulting with security leaders to assess recent developments and responses to the Iranian attack.
Netanyahu remarked, "Iran has made a grave mistake and will pay the price."
Iranian military officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Mohammad Bagheri, claimed that "Israel" intensified its crimes by assassinating Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, making Iran "unable to tolerate" the situation.
He stated that Iran exercised restraint since the assassination of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, requested by the US and Europe to establish a ceasefire in Gaza.
Baqeri threatened to target "all infrastructure" in "Israel" if it retaliated against missile strikes, estimated at around 200 ballistic missiles, many of which are hypersonic.
He warned that the missile attacks on "Israel" "will be repeated with even greater force, and all of the entity's infrastructure will be targeted."
