Significant decline in Jewish immigrants to "Israel" since October 2023
Jewish immigration to "Israel" has seen a significant drop since the occupation's military operation in Gaza began in October last year, according to reports from "Israeli" media.
The Walla news site revealed that approximately 31,000 Jewish immigrants moved to "Israel" during the war, coming from over 100 countries. This marks a decline compared to the previous year, which saw 46,000 new arrivals.
Data from "Israel's" Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, along with the Jewish Agency, highlighted that the majority of immigrants came from Russia, with around 19,850 new arrivals. The US and Canada contributed 3,340 immigrants, followed by France with 1,820, Ukraine with 980, and Belarus with 795.
The report also noted that nearly two-thirds of these new immigrants have chosen to settle in six main cities, with Netanya, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Bat Yam, and Ashdod being the most popular destinations.
