Hebrew media reported that "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has shown minimal interest in advancing a ceasefire amidst ongoing military operations in Gaza.

Additionally, sources indicate that Netanyahu has not committed to securing the return of "Israeli" captives alive from the Gaza Strip.

In a related development, it was revealed that the US warned Iran against launching any direct attacks on Tel Aviv, signaling that such actions would provoke a broader military response from Washington.

Meanwhile, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced the successful destruction of two "Israeli" armored personnel carriers and the targeting of a Merkava tank and two military bulldozers.

The group claimed to have used explosive devices and Yasin 105 shells in the attacks, which took place east of Khan Yunis.

According to the brigades, the assaults resulted in casualties among "Israeli" forces, with reports of both dead and wounded personnel. Helicopters were seen landing in the area to evacuate the injured.

Earlier, unofficial Hebrew media reported an attempt by Palestinian fighters to capture an "Israeli" soldier in Khan Yunis on Monday.
