Lebanese Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced on Saturday that the Israeli Occupation military interfered with the control tower at Beirut's international airport, warning an Iranian civilian plane against landing.

According to sources from MTV, the 'Israeli' army threatened to use force if the Iranian plane, which was en route to the airport, proceeded to land.

In response, Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, instructed Beirut airport authorities to advise the plane not to enter Lebanese airspace or attempt landing.

Earlier, Israeli Occupation army spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated that the military would not allow any weapons transfers to Hezbollah, including through Beirut's international airport. He added that 'Israel' is aware of Iranian arms shipments to Hezbollah and is committed to preventing them.

Hagari also emphasized that Beirut's airport is a civilian facility and should remain so, warning that hostile aircraft carrying weapons would not be permitted to land.
