Explosions rock Nazareth, Afula as rockets fall from Lebanon

Hebrew media reported that explosions were heard in the skies over Nazareth and Afula, with rockets and fragments of intercepting missiles falling in the Nazareth area.

“Israel’s” Channel 12 stated that a rocket was launched from Lebanon and landed in Kiryat Shmona.

“Israel’s” Channel 13 confirmed that a building in Kiryat Shmona was damaged by this rocket.

Additionally, “Israeli” army radio reported that Kiryat Shmona was subjected to heavy shelling, with approximately 50 rockets fired from southern Lebanon, causing damage to buildings.

Channel 12 also mentioned that five injured individuals were transported to HaEmek Medical Center in Afula following the rocket attacks from Lebanon.

The report further noted that the Israeli military targeted the cell responsible for firing rockets toward Afula and the Galilee Center early Tuesday morning.

Hebrew media also reported initial damage to a house in the city of Tamra in northern occupied Palestinian territories from a rocket launched from Lebanon.

Walla reported that the Home Front Command issued new instructions to suspend classes in additional towns in northern “Israel” today.
