Death toll from Israeli Occupation aggression on Lebanon nears 500 in just over 24 hours

A Roya correspondent reported that the number of casualties from the Israeli Occupation aggression on Lebanon approached 500 martyrs and 1,645 others injured within just over 24 hours.

Among the victims are 35 children and 58 women, with hundreds more martyred and thousands injured.

Lebanese Health Minister Firas Al-Abyad stated in a press conference that the Israeli strikes have targeted hospitals, medical centers, and ambulances.

Additionally, Lebanese Education Minister Abbas Halabi announced the closure of schools and universities across the country today, Tuesday, while allowing educational institutions to provide shelter for those displaced by the bombardment.

“Israeli” Channel 12 reported that “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed the security cabinet last night that military pressure on Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, could potentially lead to a prisoner exchange deal.

Netanyahu also emphasized that the primary objective of the occupation is to sever the connection between the fronts in Lebanon and Gaza.
