Was Washington informed of Tel Aviv's attack on Beirut?

A security source within the Israeli Occupation reported that Tel Aviv has notified Washington about its extensive attack on Lebanon, according to the 'Israeli' Public Broadcasting Corporation (Kan).

Kan added that Washington has given Tel Aviv the green light to launch a broader offensive against Lebanon.

Pentagon, on the other hand, had said that the escalation in Lebanon could spiral out of control and lead to a regional war.

Earlier Monday evening, the "Israeli" military announced it had struck "more than 1,100 Hezbollah targets" in Lebanon within 24 hours.

The military stated that the strikes included "buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure where rockets, launchers, and drones pose a threat."
