"Israeli" army strikes Beirut, reportedly targets senior Hezbollah official

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced it is currently targeting the Lebanese capital of Beirut; including what it said was a “targeted strike” – the statement said it will provide more details later.

Hebrew media reported that the strike on Beirut targeted a senior Hezbollah official – the report did not elaborate further.

Security sources cited by Hebrew media that the target was senior Hezbollah commander Ali Karaki.

Karaki is the head of Hezbollah’s southern command, responsible for Hezbollah’s activity in south Lebanon.
