A flight from Cairo to New Jersey at 5:25 AM last Wednesday sparked outrage on social media after passengers experienced distress from high temperatures.

The airline reported that one passenger felt "extremely unwell" while the plane was on the ground, citing a sudden malfunction in the air conditioning system as the cause of the rising cabin temperature.

A doctor traveling on the flight confirmed that the passenger's condition required medical attention, prompting the crew to request an ambulance.

The airline noted that multiple attempts were made to calm passengers amid the heat, and after confirming the passenger's health status and ability to continue, the flight departed again at 7:10 AM.

The airline added that the pilot decided to return to the gate at 5:40 AM.

The affected passenger insisted on completing the journey after receiving medical clearance. Following the crew's efforts to soothe passengers and ensure everyone's safety, the flight took off again for New Jersey.

The airline stated it is conducting a thorough investigation into the incident and expressed sincere apologies for what occurred during the flight. They reassured that passenger safety and comfort are their top priorities and are currently reaching out to those on board to offer appropriate apologies.
