New explosion toll: 32 Killed in Lebanon as Icom devices detonate

Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abyad has announced an increase in the number of martyrs following the explosions of communication devices in Lebanon.

Abyad reported that 32 people have died according to the latest statistics on the victims of the communication device explosions.

On Wednesday, several explosions in several communication devices rocked Lebanon which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries. The devices that exploded were Icom V82 models, which are different from the wireless "pager" devices that exploded on Tuesday.

ICOM devices are wireless communication tools primarily used for radio communications, manufactured by ICOM Incorporated, a Japanese company specializing in radios for both professionals and hobbyists.

ICOM's product range includes handheld and fixed radios, as well as devices used in ships, aircraft, and vehicles.

These devices are employed in various applications, such as:
