Factory accident in Zarqa leaves 110 injured

A Roya correspondent reported on Tuesday that 110 people were injured at a factory in Al-Dhulail, located in Zarqa Governorate.

The correspondent added that Civil Defense teams are on-site, carrying out the necessary procedures.

The correspondent clarified that 54 individuals were taken to Zarqa Hospital, 13 to Mafraq Hospital, and 8 to a private hospital. Seventy-three injured individuals remain at the factory.

Medical sources reported that the symptoms, such as dizziness and headaches, result from a chemical leak.

Security teams have arrived at the incident site, and investigations have commenced to determine the cause.
