Jordan strongly condemns attempted assassination of former President Trump

Jordan has strongly condemned the attempted assassination of former US President Donald Trump.

The Kingdom reiterated its rejection of all forms of political violence, particularly those targeting public and political figures.

Jordan expressed its full solidarity with the United States and with Trump and his family in light of this unfortunate incident.

Earlier Monday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump attributed the assassination attempt against him to the rhetoric of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, according to AFP.

Trump stated that the suspect in the incident "was influenced by the rhetoric of Biden and Harris and acted accordingly." He further claimed in an interview with Fox News that "their rhetoric leads to attempts on my life."
