Israeli Occupation blocks worshippers from celebrating Prophet’s birthday

14:33 2024-09-15|The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) prevented worshippers from reaching the Ibrahimi Mosque on Sunday in the southern West Bank to celebrate the Prophet’s birthday, according to a Roya correspondent.
The Prophet’s birthday, known as Mawlid al-Nabawi, is an annual celebration of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which falls on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal in the Islamic calendar.
This day is considered a significant religious occasion, where Muslims gather in mosques and homes to recite the Quran and chant hymns that recall the life and teachings of the Prophet.
