The source told Roya News that the court's decision is not final, indicating that if the conviction is upheld, the candidate’s seat in the 20th House of Representatives will be transferred to the runner-up with the next highest number of votes.
Lawyer Sameeh Al-Ajarmeh explained that if a final verdict is issued convicting the candidate of bribery, the candidate's membership in parliament will be nullified, and the seat will be awarded to the next in line on the electoral list.
