Jordanian Yazan Al-Naimat to miss 6-8 weeks due to injury
Qatari club Al-Arabi announced on Saturday that Jordanian national team forward Yazan Al-Naimat will be sidelined for 6 to 8 weeks following a serious injury.
The club stated on its X (formerly Twitter) platform that medical examinations revealed Al-Naimat suffered a rib fracture in his chest, which will keep him off the field for approximately one and a half to two months.
The 25-year-old Al-Naimat joined Al-Arabi this year from Al-Ahli Jordan, where he was a key attacking player for the team.
This injury comes as a significant blow to the Jordanian national football team, which has already been affected by the recent injury of star player Musa Al-Tamari during Jordan's match against Kuwait in the first round of the Asian World Cup qualifiers.
The Jordanian team is scheduled to face South Korea on October 10, putting coach Jamal Salami under pressure to find suitable replacements for these key players.
