Princess Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, daughter of Dubai's ruler and UAE Prime Minister, has made a bold return to social media, announcing the launch of her new perfume brand.

The fragrance, named "Divorce," marks her first major public move since her highly-publicized split from her husband, Mana al-Maktoum, which she also revealed through Instagram.

In a series of posts, the princess shared images of herself holding the sleek, black matte bottle adorned with the word “Divorce” written in bold white letters.

The promotional material, which included striking visuals like black roses, a panther, and shattered glass, offers a glimpse into the dramatic tone of the perfume’s branding. However, the specific scent, or "notes," of the fragrance remain undisclosed, leaving fans and followers guessing.

This launch follows an earlier teaser on her Instagram account for her perfume brand, "Mahra M1."

Princess Mahra has since posted several images, showcasing herself in stylish outfits such as a white pantsuit and a silver dress, debuting a new look with sleek, jet-black hair. The imagery highlights the princess’s transformation and her embrace of independence post-divorce.

Princess Mahra captured international attention when, in a bold Instagram post, she publicly announced her separation.

She addressed her husband directly, stating: “Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.”

The wording appeared to reference the Islamic practice where a man can verbally declare a divorce by repeating the statement three times.

Since the split, Princess Mahra has deleted all images of her former spouse from her social media.

Her followers noted a heartfelt post three weeks ago where she expressed gratitude to her father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

In the post, she thanked him for his unwavering support, writing, “Dear father, thank you for your support. Thank you for your love. Thank you for marking an era that justifies that there is justice for everyone.”

With her perfume launch, Princess Mahra enters the lucrative world of celebrity fragrances, a market dominated by stars like Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé.

Time will tell if Princess Mahra’s perfume “Divorce” will achieve similar commercial success. The striking name, bold marketing, and her personal story of independence certainly set the stage for her to make a splash in the fragrance world.
