Report reveals highest Green Card recipients from Arab countries in 2022

12-09-2024 13:27|US Department of Homeland Security has released a comprehensive report detailing foreign nationals who obtained legal permanent residency (Green Card), as well as those accepted as non-immigrants, granted asylum, refugee status, or citizenship.
Based on 2022 data from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, the report showed that the Green Card allows recipients to live and work permanently in the US, opening doors to various economic and social opportunities.
The report revealed that Egypt topped the list of Arab countries, with 8,348 Egyptian citizens receiving Green Cards in 2022, followed by Yemen with 5,648 recipients, and Jordan with 4,779.
