Roya's cameras captured on Wednesday the efforts of Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) crews removing campaign posters for candidates of the 20th parliamentary elections.

This follows the conclusion of voting on Tuesday and the closing of ballot boxes.

Footage showed GAM vehicles collecting posters from various parts of the capital, preparing for their disposal. The initial focus was on posters that had fallen from poles or were damaged in recent days.

Polling stations for the 2024 parliamentary elections officially closed at 7 PM on Tuesday, in line with the election law. Voters present inside polling centers at the time were still allowed to cast their votes.

The general voter turnout for the 2024 elections reached 36%, with a total of 1,638,351 votes cast. Male voters accounted for 35.69% (854,540), while female voters made up 29.18% (783,808).
