Young man kills father in Cairo
Security forces in Cairo have arrested a young man for the brutal murder of his father due to a severe family dispute over finances in the Al-Muqattam area.
The incident occurred in broad daylight, with the young man stabbing his father to death in the street. After receiving a report about a body found in the Al-Muqattam police district, authorities arrived at the scene, where they discovered the man had suffered multiple fatal stab wounds.
Investigations, as reported by the Egyptian newspaper Al-Dustour, revealed that the young man's parents had divorced nine years ago. He struggled to find a stable home, as both parents remarried and refused to accommodate him, forcing him to seek work at a workshop.
Further details indicated that the father, who worked as a mechanic, frequently assaulted his son and took his earnings. On the day of the incident, a heated argument over money led the son to fatally stab his father, ending his life.
