Israeli Occupation returns body of tortured, killed Palestinian prisoner
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported receiving the body of an unidentified martyr from the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) at the Salem checkpoint, west of Jenin.
The body, identified as that of prisoner Hajj Ayman Rajih Abed, 50, showed signs of torture and was transferred to Jenin Hospital.
Earlier, a Roya correspondent reported that Palestinian Laith Shawahneh was killed, while another person was injured, by an Israeli Occupation drone strike targeting the village of Silat Al-Harithiya, northwest of Jenin.
The correspondent also noted that the IOF raided the village to take measurements of the home of martyr Raafat Al-Tayeb, who was killed in a previous attack in central Jenin.
The occupation claims that Tayeb was involved in and planned several operations.
The IOF is continuing its large-scale military operation for the sixth consecutive day, with intense clashes in the Jenin camp, as well as raids and confrontations in Nablus, Qalqilya, and Tubas.
