Israeli Occupation claims to have retrieved body of captive in Gaza
“Israel’s” Channel 7 claimed that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in Gaza recovered the body of a captive held in Gaza. The body was identified as that of Shaked Dahan.
Additionally, officials revealed that Israeli forces found the captive Kaid Farhan Al-Qadi by chance on Tuesday, as reported by The New York Times (NYT).
A third official noted that soldiers initially feared Qadi might be a Hamas fighter.

“Israeli” military radio reported that Qadi was found in the tunnel where he was held.
This is the first instance since the aggression began where IOF rescued a live hostage from an underground tunnel, as previous successful rescues involved hostages from above-ground buildings.
Channel 14 stated that Qadi was found in a 27-meter-deep tunnel in good condition and was kept with other hostages for a few days before being moved by guards.
"A joint operation by the army and Shin Bet today resulted in the rescue of 53-year-old Farhan Al-Qadi from Rahat, who was held by Hamas since October 7," officials stated.
In a separate report, “Israeli” media claimed that another hostage, "Kayed Farhan Al-Qadi" from the Bedouin community, managed to escape Gaza and return to the occupied Palestinian territories.
