Israeli Occupation Airports Authority announced the diversion of flights from Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv to Ramon Airport in Eilat due to the escalating security situation.

This measure follows a significant drone attack by Hezbollah deep into Israeli Occupation territory in response to a previous 'preemptive attack' from Israeli Occupation.

In response to these developments, Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets at Israeli Occupation military sites and Iron Dome missile defense systems in northern Israeli Occupation, marking the end of the first phase of their operation. A total of 320 Katyusha rockets were fired, and Hezbollah warned that any harm to civilians would lead to severe repercussions.

Reports indicated that rockets were fired from southern Lebanon, landing in the Upper Galilee and Galilee Panhandle regions of northern Israeli Occupation. 'Israeli' media, including Channel 12, confirmed that several rockets fell near Mount Meron in the Upper Galilee.

As the situation intensified, the Israeli Occupation Airports Authority closed Ben Gurion Airport, suspending all flights in and out of the country. Power outages were also reported in the northern coastal city of Akka.

- What started Sunday's attack? -

Earlier on Sunday, Israeli Occupation Forces launched a large-scale military operation against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, targeting border villages and Hezbollah positions. The Israeli Occupation military claimed that Hezbollah was preparing to launch rockets and shells towards 'Israeli' settlements, describing their actions as defensive rather than a declaration of war.

A senior 'Israeli' official emphasized that the continuation of hostilities would depend on Hezbollah's actions. Meanwhile, Hezbollah reiterated their warning that any attacks on civilians would be met with severe retaliation. They also announced that their operations would continue and promised a detailed statement on the progress and objectives of their campaign.
