Gold prices soar in Jordan

Gold prices in the local market increased by JD 0.8 per gram on Saturday, according to the first pricing update from the Jordanian Jewelers Syndicate (JJS).

The new prices set the selling price of 21-carat gold at JD 50.8 per gram, with the buying price at JD 48.9 per gram.

The selling price of 24-carat gold is JD 58.5 per gram, with the buying price at JD 55.7. The price for 18-carat gold became JD 45.1 for selling and JD 41.6 for buying.
