Day 314 of Israeli Occupation assault on Gaza: casualties now measured by kilogram

The Israeli Occupation assault on the Gaza Strip now reached its 314th consecutive day, with ongoing bombardments across various areas of the region.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) is responsible for several brutal massacres throughout the Gaza Strip, leaving Gazans in the harrowing position of collecting the remains of their loved ones in bags, with casualties being measured by the kilogram.

In diplomatic developments, Hamas announced it will not participate in the ceasefire talks scheduled for Thursday.

Ahmed Abd Al-Hadi, Hamas’ representative in Lebanon, confirmed to CBS News that the Palestinian movement’s delegation will be absent from the resumption of negotiations with “Israel”.

Abd Al-Hadi cited a lack of assurances from “Israel” regarding adherence to a previous proposal made on July 2 as the primary reason for Hamas’ decision.

Moreover, “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided to dispatch a comprehensive delegation to the Doha summit scheduled for Thursday.

This summit aims to address the ceasefire in Gaza and finalize a prisoner exchange deal. The “Israeli” delegation will include key figures such as Mossad Chief David Barnea, Shin Bet Chief Ronen Bar, and Major General Nitzan Alon, who oversees the issue of captive soldiers in Gaza.
