Abu Obaida reports two fatal incidents involving “Israeli” captives
Abu Obaida, the military spokesperson for Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, reported two incidents involving “Israeli” captives held in the Gaza Strip.
According to a statement on Abu Obaida’s official Telegram channel, the first incident involved two soldiers who were assigned to guard the captives.
The two guards opened fire on a captive, resulting in the immediate death of one “Israeli” captive.
Two other captives were critically wounded in the second incident. Efforts to save the injured captives are currently underway – according to Abu Obaida.
Abu Obaida placed full responsibility for these incidents on the “Israeli” government, condemning what he described as "atrocities" and warning of potential repercussions that could affect the lives of other “Israeli” captives.
He emphasized that the actions were a direct result of the ongoing conflict and the tense conditions in which prisoners are held.
A committee has been established to investigate the details of the incidents. The findings of this investigation will be disclosed to the public once they are available – Abu Obaida’s statement added.
