The Israeli Broadcasting Authority (IBA) reported that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) ordered its soldiers stationed in Georgia and Azerbaijan to return home due to concerns over potential Iranian retaliation.
The Pentagon announced that US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin ordered the deployment of a nuclear-powered submarine to the Middle East and expedited the arrival of an aircraft carrier strike group in response to the anticipated Iranian attack on Tel Aviv.
CNN highlighted that this move serves as a clear warning to Iran amid expectations of a large-scale assault on Tel Aviv, prompting the US to enhance its military presence in the region.
Austin also directed the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln to expedite its transit to the Middle East, joining the USS Theodore Roosevelt, already in the region, the USS Wasp, and the Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), significantly boosting US military power in the area.
