Prince Hashim attends night drill for Special Police on behalf of King Abdullah
On Monday, Prince Hashim bin Abdullah II, representing His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, attended a nighttime security drill conducted by the Special Police Command at one of its training fields.
Accompanied by General Director of Public Security Directorate Major General Obaidallah Al-Maaitah, Prince Hashim received a briefing from the Special Police Commander on the security scenarios of the exercise, which included field applications such as isolation, containment, breach, and handling of dangerous criminals.
The drill featured modern equipment, technology, and drones, as well as various tactical live-fire exercises. Its goal was to maintain participant performance and readiness, enhance operational skills, and improve coordination between public security units, the Jordanian Armed Forces, and other security agencies.
At the end of the exercise, Prince Hashim praised the high level of professionalism and skill demonstrated by the participants, expressing His Majesty's pride in the high morale and capabilities of the Public Security Directorate members.
