Houthis vow to retaliation against UK, UK aggression

In a statement released by the Yemeni Armed Forces, they announced the downing of an American MQ-9 aircraft in Saada Governorate, using a locally manufactured surface-to-air missile.

The forces described this action as part of their "triumph for the oppressed Palestinian people and their Mujahideen," and a response to the "American-British aggression" against Yemen.

The statement highlighted that this is the seventh aircraft of its type shot down during what they termed the "battle of the promised victory and the holy jihad in support of Gaza."

Additionally, the Yemeni naval and missile forces conducted a joint military operation targeting the ship Groton in the Gulf of Aden with several ballistic missiles. The Houthis claimed the hit was accurate, justifying the attack due to the ship's alleged violation of a ban on access to ports in occupied Palestine.

The Yemeni Armed Forces also praised the "valiant Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip" for 300 days of "steadfastness, heroism, and sacrifice in defense of the nation." They affirmed their commitment to continuing military operations "until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in Gaza is lifted."
