What will weather in Jordan be like this week?
Sunday, the weather across most of Jordan will be typically summery, with hot conditions prevailing in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate from the northwest, occasionally picking up.
Jordan's Meteorological Department, similar weather is expected on Monday, with moderate northwest winds continuing to be active at times.
On Tuesday, a slight increase in temperatures is expected, bringing relatively hot weather to most areas, and particularly hot conditions in the desert regions, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will remain moderate from the northwest, occasionally becoming brisk.
Another slight rise in temperatures is forecasted for Wednesday, maintaining relatively hot weather in most regions and even hotter conditions in the desert areas, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northwest winds will continue, with occasional gusts.
Temperature forecasts for today indicate highs and lows ranging from 33°C to 23°C in East Amman, 31°C to 21°C in West Amman, 29°C to 17°C in the northern highlands, and 30°C to 18°C in the Sharah Mountains.
The desert areas will see temperatures between 36°C and 21°C, while the plains will experience 33°C to 22°C. In the northern Jordan Valley, temperatures will range from 41°C to 26°C, 43°C to 29°C in the southern Jordan Valley, 42°C to 28°C at the Dead Sea, and 42°C to 29°C in Aqaba.
