Hamas reveals funeral arrangements for Ismail Haniyeh

Hamas revealed the funeral arrangements for Ismail Haniyeh, the head of its political bureau, who was martyred in Tehran, Iran, early Wednesday.

Hamas stated that a formal and public funeral ceremony for Haniyeh will be held in Tehran on Thursday. 

Then, the body will be transported to Doha, Qatar, in the afternoon.

A funeral prayer for Haniyeh will take place at the Imam Muhammad Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab Mosque in Doha after Friday prayers. 

Haniyeh will then be laid to rest at in Lusail.

Hamas noted that the funeral in Doha will be attended by the public, various factions, and Arab and Islamic leaders.
