On Tuesday evening, a Roya correspondent reported an explosion in Haret Hreik, a suburb in the southern part of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The Lebanese News Agency confirmed that the Al-Rabi’ building, targeted in the raid by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), had collapsed.
Reuters reported that the explosion was aimed at a Hezbollah leader, whose fate remains uncertain. Lebanese media disclosed that an Israeli Occupation drone struck the building in Haret Hreik with three missiles.
Reports suggested that Fouad Shukr, an advisor to Hassan Nasrallah, was the target, though Hezbollah has not yet confirmed this.
Hebrew Channel 12 announced that the airstrikes in Beirut concluded after the assassination of a Hezbollah leader, whose identity is still unknown. Meanwhile, Hebrew media stated that the assassination target was the nephew of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
The military raised its alert level following the strikes, suggesting that the assassination operation in Beirut was deemed successful.
The Israeli Occupation army stated: "We accurately targeted in Beirut the commander responsible for killing children in Majdal Shams."
