Erdogan threatens to invade “Israel” to help Palestinians
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that Turkey could enter “Israel” just as it had done in the past in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh.
In a televised address of a meeting with the AK party, Erdogan said that his country “must be very strong so that Israel can't do these ridiculous things to Palestine. Just like we entered Karabakh, just like we entered Libya, we might do similar to them.”
“Israeli” Foreign Minister Israel Katz responded to Erdoğan’s comments, saying that he follows in the footsteps of Saddam Hussein by threatening to attack “Israel”.
“Just let him remember what happened there and how it ended,” Katz said, captioning a photo putting Erdogan side-by-side with a picture of Saddam Hussein after his capture by the United States military.
