Macron commits to preventing regional escalation in call with Netanyahu

French President Emmanuel Macron assured Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a phone call on Sunday that France is "fully committed to doing everything possible to avoid a new escalation in the region," according to the Elysee.

The French presidency stated that Macron pledged to send "messages to all concerned parties" following the targeting of the occupied Syrian Golan.

Macron emphasized the "need to reach a political solution to the issue of the Blue Line, based on Resolution 1701."

Earlier Sunday, Lebanon called for an "international investigation" into the bombing, which injured 30 people, and the Israeli Occupation authorities reported the death of a 13-year-old boy.

Israeli Occupation army radio announced that possible scenarios for an attack on Lebanon were prepared and presented to the political leadership in Israeli Occupation.

Among the proposed scenarios was "more stringent military action," according to the Hebrew radio.

The radio also reported that the Israeli Occupation army does not seek a "comprehensive war" with Hezbollah but aims to deliver a significant blow.
