What is in store for Jordan's weather this August?
August, traditionally one of the hottest months in the Kingdom, is set to see temperatures peak before a gradual decline in the following months.
Early August will bring relatively hot weather with moderate nighttime temperatures, and there will be a notable absence of heat waves at the start of the month, according to ArabiaWeather.
Temperatures will be slightly above average for this time of year, with generally hot summer conditions prevailing across most regions. However, the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea will experience exceptionally hot temperatures.
On Sunday, the forecast predicts a slight rise in temperatures, approximately 2°C above the seasonal average.
The general weather will be relatively hot, with hotter conditions in the Dead Sea, Jordan Valley, and Aqaba. Winds will blow from the northwest at a moderate speed, with stronger gusts expected in the afternoon.
For the remainder of July, ArabiaWeather anticipates that temperatures will remain around or slightly above average.
Typical summer weather is expected over the high mountains, while other regions will experience relatively hot conditions. Extreme heat will continue in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with low clouds expected in northern and some central areas during the early morning hours.
Maximum temperatures are forecasted to reach the low 30s°C in mountainous areas, mid-thirties in other cities and regions, and climb into the low forties in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba. Winds will remain moderate from the northwest, with active gusts in the afternoon and evening.
Throughout the night, temperatures are expected to be moderate to pleasant, with humid conditions making it ideal for outdoor activities, particularly in the mountainous regions of the Kingdom.
