Man kills two brothers before jumping off Abdoun Bridge

A man of an Arab nationality killed his two brothers and severely injured the third before committing suicide by jumping off Abdoun Bridge.

The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that a report was received on Sunday morning by the South Amman Police Directorate. 

The report indicated that a man of an Arab nationality had killed two of his brothers with a sharp object, seriously injured a third, and then left the scene.

Investigators arrived on the scene, removed the bodies, and provided medical aid to the injured individual. 

Simultaneously, a report was received about a person committing suicide by jumping off Abdoun Bridge. Upon arrival at the scene, it was confirmed that the deceased was the same individual who had committed the earlier murders.

Investigations are ongoing to uncover further details of the incident – the statement added.
