Adibat added that 17 local companies have purchased copies of the tender to conduct a feasibility study of the construction of a light rail project.
JHR’s General Manager, Zahi Khalil, stated that they are currently studying the establishment of the light rail, which would cover a distance of approximately 65 kilometers.
He estimated that the rail could transport between 40,000 to 50,000 passengers daily.
