“Israeli” aggression continues for 289th day
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continue to target the Gaza Strip for the 289th consecutive day – the death toll from the aggression has risen to 38,919 with 89,622 injured since October 7th of last year, according to the latest numbers released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said that they lured an “Israeli” foot patrol into a pre-planted tunnel and detonated it, causing casualties among the force in the Tel Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah city in the southern part of the Strip.
The IOF announced that one of its soldiers was seriously wounded during battles in the southern Gaza Strip.
The death toll among Israeli soldiers has risen to 683 since October 7, with 326 of these deaths occurring since the start of the ground operation on October 27.
According to the IOF, 4,186 soldiers have been injured since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza, with 620 of these injuries classified as serious, 1,051 as moderate, and 2,515 as minor.
