The fire in Hodeida port caused by "Israeli" strikes on fuel depots.
“Israeli” airstrikes target Yemen
The Yemeni city of Hodeida has been hit by several “Israeli” strikes – as reported by Agence France-Presse and Houthi-aligned media outlets.
An “Israeli” jet carried out a strike in Yemen in response to the Houthi drone attack on Tel Aviv – according to a U.S. official quoted by Axios.
Media outlets affiliated with Houthis said that the strikes on Hodeida targeted oil refinery facilities at the city’s port.
AFP’s correspondent reported hearing loud explosions and that a fuel depot in the port had been hit.
Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV reported a “series of strikes” that hit “fuel storage facilities”.
The strikes came a day after a Houthi drone attack penetrated “Israel's” air defenses and hit a building in Tel Aviv, killing one in the process, which prompted “Israeli” threats of retaliation.
