War will continue until victory, says Netanyahu
“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the war against the Gaza Strip will continue until “Israel” achieves victory until Gaza no longer poses a threat to them; even if it takes time.
“Under the leadership of the Chief of Staff [Halevi], decisive blows have been dealt to the enemy by land, sea, and air,” he added.
On the recent revival of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange talks, he further claimed that he is committed to the four principles he outlined previously, reiterating his goal for the return of the “Israeli” captives held in the Gaza Strip.
The four are “the elimination of Hamas rule in the Gaza Strip, the return of all our hostages home, thwarting any future threat to Israel from Gaza,” and the return of displaced “Israelis” to their homes in the south and north.
“I am committed to the proposed exchange deal, but Hamas is being obstinate,” he continued, “every deal must allow Israel to return to combat.”
He admitted that the Israeli Occupation is “paying a high price during the war,” but that the key to victory is defeating Hamas.
On the recent escalations with Hezbollah on the border with Lebanon, Netanyahu vowed that they “will me their fate” – adding that they will “change the situation in the north”.
