Joe Biden: I am Joe Biden’s husband
A video resurfaced from late June of another gaffe from US President Joe Biden, in which he calls himself “Joe Biden’s husband.”
The incident took place on June 18 at an event celebrating the anniversary of the 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which aims to protect some illegal immigrants from deportation.
At the end of his speech, Biden said: “My name is Joe Biden, and I am Joe Biden’s husband…thanks to all members of congress and Homeland Security Secretary” followed by unintelligible talk.
Three days ago, in an interview with a Philadelphia radio station, Biden called himself a black woman.
“[I am] the first Black woman to serve with a Black president,” he said, confusing himself with Vice-President Kamala Harris.
The 81-year-old president spent much of his time in the last weeks reaffirming his ability to be the Democratic party’s first pick for the 2024 elections, after a highly questionable debate performance against rival Donald Trump, which shocked many of his supporters and even democratic lawmakers.
The pair are expected to have their second debate on ABC News on September 10, with the venue’s location not yet announced.
