Jordan national football team jumps to 68th place in FIFA rankings

In the latest FIFA men’s world rankings released Thursday, the Jordanian national
football team (Al-Nashama) have climbed three spots to secure the 68th place – after gaining 23.9 points in the period from April 4, 2024 to June 20, 2024.

Al-Nashama had secured their place in the decisive round of World Cup qualifiers by topping their group with 13 points – which included Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, and Pakistan.

With this ranking, Al-Nashama officially move up to the third tier – which bolsters their chances of having a favorable group in the next group stage of qualifiers and secure their first-ever World Cup qualification.
