The Grand Criminal Court in Jordan has issued a harsh sentence against a man who sexually assaulted his daughter 120 times.

According to the Jordanian newspaper "Al-Ghad", the court sentenced the defendant to 20 years in prison with hard labor after he was convicted of indecent assault and having sex with a minor.

Investigations revealed that the defendant had committed his crime against his 15-year-old daughter for two years, exploiting her fear of her father and threatening to kill her.

The investigations also indicated that the defendant had previously assaulted his other daughter 8 years ago, but the family did not report the incident for fear of scandal.

This case is considered one of the most heinous crimes that have shaken Jordanian society in recent times, and it has sparked a wave of anger and resentment.

Child protection organizations have stressed the need to raise awareness about child sexual abuse issues and encourage victims to report such crimes.

The organizations also called for stricter laws to punish perpetrators and provide psychological support for victims.
