The "Red Motorcade" is a prominent tradition that has been linked with national events since the establishment of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It consists of 20 SUVs, including 14 primary vehicles and 6 reserves, accompanied by 10 motorcycles.

It began in the era of His Majesty King Abdullah I, who used a procession of white horses dressed in dark blue trousers and red blazers at significant national events.

The open-top red royal cars will carry 71 members of Jordan's Special Royal Guard Command, who will be wearing red sashes across their chests, alongside accompanying motorcycles.

The Red Motorcade surrounds the King's car during national events, state visits, or special occasions.

The procession moves according to specific formations based on a special "protocol" from the royal ceremonies.
