Danish Prime Minister assaulted in Copenhagen

Danish Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, was assaulted by a man in central Copenhagen on Friday, leaving her in a state of shock.

Reports from news agency Ritzau, citing the police and the Prime Minister's Office, did not specify whether Frederiksen sustained any injuries.

The police have since arrested the suspect involved in the incident.

The President of the European Parliament condemned the attack, calling it "disgusting."
