Crown Prince thanks national football team for victory in World Cup qualifiers
His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, shared his appreciation for the victory achieved by the national football team against Tajikistan in the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.
On Instagram, the Crown Prince expressed gratitude, stating, "Thank you for bringing us joy."
He also shared a video from the match and a moment where players congratulated him on his recent promotion to the rank of major in the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army.
Earlier Thursday, Prince Hussein had attended the match between the national football team and Tajikistan at Amman International Stadium. The stadium was adorned with the colors of the Jordanian flag, and patriotic chants echoed throughout, demonstrating encouragement and support for the national team.
As a result of their performance, the national football team has secured a spot in the third stage of the World Cup qualifiers and has progressed to the Asian finals.
