VIDEO: Silver Jubilee festivities kick off across Jordan on Friday, Saturday
Jordanians across all governorates are set to celebrate on Friday and Saturday with a host of events and activities to mark the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II's ascension to the throne.

Starting at 4:00 PM on Friday, the celebrations will span the entire nation, with activities designed to engage citizens of all ages and backgrounds.
Meanwhile, events and activities will begin on Saturday at 10:00 AM in all governorates, except for Aqaba, where activities will start at 6:00 PM.
The festivities will feature a variety of entertainment options, including activities specifically for children, cultural and folkloric performances, and dazzling fireworks displays. Additionally, bazaars will be held to support and showcase local products and handicrafts.
In a gesture to encourage widespread participation, entry to all celebration sites will be free of charge in every governorate.
