Series of tragic incidents claim lives of young men across Jordan

Jordan experienced a series of tragic incidents last week, resulting in the deaths of young men aged between twenty and thirty, leading to widespread sorrow across several governorates and on social media platforms.

In various circumstances, these young men met their untimely demise. Some perished in a devastating traffic accident, while others lost their lives in drowning incidents, electric shocks, and one tragically set himself on fire.

- Ramtha -

In Ramtha, the city mourned the loss of two young men in a heartbreaking traffic collision in the capital, Amman. Ahmed Ahed Al-Murshid Al-Zoubi and Malik Arif Muhammad Al-Hindi lost their lives, while two other passengers sustained critical injuries.

Social media platforms overflowed with condolences for the departed.

- Northern Jordan Valley -

A man in his thirties succumbed to electric shock in the Northern Jordan Valley. Dr. Muayad Al-Shakoor, director of Abu Ubaida Al-Jarrah Governmental Hospital, confirmed the man's unfortunate demise upon arrival at the hospital's emergency department.

- Northern Shouna -

A young man in his twenties tragically drowned in the waters of the King Abdullah Canal in Northern Shuna. Dr. Osama Abu Sneina, director of Moaz Bin Jabal Governmental Hospital, stated that despite efforts by civil defense personnel and emergency responders, the 21-year-old man could not be revived.

- Aqaba -

A resident of Aqaba lost his life after setting himself on fire. According to the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate, the individual was transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. An investigation has been initiated to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
