“Israeli” forces raid West Bank cities, carries out arrests

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) raided the city of Hebron and Beitunia near Ramallah in the early hours of Friday, as well as the city of Al-Bireh.

Local sources reported that “Israeli” forces stormed Hebron with several vehicles and deployed in the Wadi Al-Haria area and its outskirts.

The forces arrested two young men from Beitunya, west of Ramallah, in addition to raiding the city of Al-Bireh.

The IOF also entered Beitunya with a number of vehicles, patrolling the streets and neighborhoods before arresting the young men Bahaa Haboub and Ahmed Azat after raiding and searching their homes, according to local sources.

Similarly, military vehicles entered the city of Al-Bireh without reporting any arrests.

These raids are part of a series of ongoing escalations by the occupation in the West Bank, exacerbating the suffering of Palestinians and deepening tension in the region.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the total number of martyrs in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, has reached 517 since October 7, 2023.
