Israeli Occupation Forces target Hamas battalion commander in Gaza tunnel raid

The "Israeli" army stated that it targeted the commander of the Beit Hanoun Battalion, affiliated with the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, with bullets from the occupying forces in a tunnel in the Jabaliya area in northern Gaza.

The Israeli Occupation army alleged that Fayyad "Hussam Fayyad was responsible for many anti-tank missile attacks as well as many mortar shell attacks on border communities in northern Gaza."

It claimed that Fayyad was targeted in a "tunnel during a joint operation carried out by the 98th Division, Special Forces of the Air Force, and the Yahalom Combat Engineering Unit."
