“Israel” braces for ICJ’s ruling as aggression on Gaza enters 231st day
The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on Gaza for the 231st consecutive day, resulting in the martyrdom of 35,800 Palestinians and the injury of 80,011 people since the beginning of the aggression on the Strip on Oct. 7, 2023 – per the latest numbers released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
The International Court of Justice (ICJ), the highest judicial body affiliated with the United Nations, is expected to issue its decision on Friday regarding South Africa's request to order the Israeli occupation to implement a ceasefire in Gaza.
South Africa seeks to have the court instruct Tel Aviv to immediately halt all military operations in Gaza, including in the city of Rafah, where ground operations began on May 7th, despite opposition from the international community.
On the ground, the Palestinian resistance inflicted heavy losses in lives and vehicles on the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).
“Israeli” soldiers acknowledged that the battles in Jabalia camp were among the "toughest battles" they have faced – per Hebrew media reports.
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, released yesterday video of the military commander of the Southern Brigade in the Gaza Division, Asaf Hamami, confirming that Hamami was captured on October 7th; debunking “Israeli” claims that Hamami was killed and his body was taken into the Gaza Strip.
